Judith Carole Fields, born November 30, 1940, in Oklahoma City, OK. She took her last earthly breath the morning of June 22, 2021 and flew with the cardinals to join the angels in Heaven. Judith was preceded in death by her mother, Velma Harris of Oklahoma City, OK, her father, Eugene Allison Harris of Oklahoma City, OK, siblings, Stanley Harris of Oklahoma City, OK, Carl Harris of Tuttle, OK, Bill Harris of Bristow, OK, Lucille Walzer of Oklahoma City, OK, Mildred Dunlap of Oklahoma City, OK, and Jean Fletcher of Midwest City, OK.
Judith, also known as Judy and Nan, was married to her devoted husband, William Leon Fields of 48 years in Oklahoma City, OK. Judith was a wonderful mother to Jamie Hill of Norman, OK, Diana Havenar of Oklahoma City, OK, Boyd Fields of Raleigh, NC, and Israel Fields of Tulsa, OK. Judith was a great Nan to Amber Provaznik of Prague, OK, Rusty Glazner of Yukon, OK, Whitney Williams of Yukon, OK, Rikki Cronk of Yukon, OK and Alli Hill of Los Angeles, CA. She was great grandmother to Mason, Max, Luna, Lanie, Charis, Rhyan, Ella, Ilissa “Lalli bug”, and Cooper with a special mention of love to her great-nephew Logan Tortolini.
She was affiliated with Southern Hills Baptist in her younger years, and when she wasn’t at church, you could find Judith working for Southwestern Bell for over thirty years. She also attended St. Anthony’s School of Nursing for eighteen months.
Judith will be remembered as a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be remember by her faith, laughter and kindness. She was a kind heart and gentle spirit.
