

Joseph was born Monday, December 30, 1991 in Clovis, New Mexico. He was the son of Karl Ulibarri and Helen Sena Ulibarri. Joseph was raised in Guymon, Oklahoma. He worked at the YMCA in Guymon while in High School and also while in Oklahoma City.
Joseph attended UCO and OPSU before deciding that college life wasn't for him and he went into car sales where he worked his way up to be the Used Car Director. He worked at several different car dealerships before finding a place that felt like home for the last almost 6 years at Fowler Dodge in Oklahoma City.
Joseph married Annette Appel on July 15 2015 at Crossroads Community Church in Oklahoma City, OK. Joseph and Annette knew each other for five years before they married, with the couple just celebrating their fifth anniversary this past July. Joseph and Annette welcomed their pride and joy Haven Grace Ulibarri on September 4, 2019.
Joseph leaves behind his wife Annette Ulibarri; daughter, Haven Grace; parents, Karl and Helen Sena Ulibarri of Guymon, OK; brother, Andrew Ulibarri and wife Caitlin of Oklahoma City, OK; grandparents: Arthur and Mela Sena of Clovis, NM and Alex and Josie Ulibarri of Santa Rosa, NM; a host of aunts and uncles including: Judy Martin of Rio Rancho, NM, Diane Baca, Crestino and Julia Lopez of Clovis, NM, Dean and Corrine Dugan of Cleveland, OH, Arthur and Gloria Sena of Carlsbad, NM, Jeff and Sandra Johnson of Rio Rancho, NM, Manuel and Monica Ulibarri of Dexter NM, Tommy and Yvonne Gonzales of Clovis, NM, and Alex Ulibarri Jr. of Pampa, TX; and family on Annette’s (in-laws that he always considered family) including: mother-law and step-father-in-law, Hope Appel and Montey Sneed, sister-in-law, Chynelle Appel and brother-in-law Remington Appel of Vernon, TX, sister-in-law, Emily Appel of Dallas, TX, father-in-law, Chad Appel and step mother-in-law Robbi Pudwill of Higgins, TX, and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins all over the Oklahoma area.
Joseph was an avid drag racer and car guy in general. He would give you the shirt off his back if that meant helping someone else in their time of need. He was a great son, brother, husband and daddy. He will be greatly missed by so many who have come in contact with him, even for a brief encounter.
Viewing will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home at 13313 N Kelley Ave Oklahoma City, OK 73131 on Sunday, January 17, from 1-5pm. A private dinner will be held for immediate family after the viewing. There will be no formal service as we do not want to put anyone at risk for covid exposure.
