Joseph Lockard Harbison died in the early hours of February 25, 2018. He was born May 23, 1933 in Ft. Defiance, AZ. In 1955 he graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a degree in Chemical and Petroleum Refining. In the same year he was married to his high school sweetheart, Joann Frances Brenton. Joe was with Marathon Oil Company until his retirement in 1992, working in Nebraska, Wyoming, Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Alaska, Ohio, Canada, Great Britain, Eire, and Indonesia. He is survived by his wife, Joann Brenton Harbison, son, Burton Earl Harbison, daughter-in-law, Diane Russell Harbison, grandson, Thomas William Harbison, numerous neighbors and friends. Graveside Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Rose Hill Burial Park with Memorial Services to follow at Westminster Presbyterian Church at 11:00 a.m.
