Jerry Sue Hoffmann

Born in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was the daughter of James (Jim) and Joy Sherwood. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1968 and studied at UCO. She was retired from Vericrest Financial, where she worked for several years.

She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and especially her grandchildren, Trey and Rhilee. She was a voracious reader from an early age and spent hours reading. She particularly enjoyed her favorite author, Stephen King. She loved finding a good bargain. Listening to rock n roll music was one of her favorite pastimes. She and her husband, Fred, enjoyed going out, listening to music, and talking for hours. She will always be remembered for her stubborn and witty personality. She had a brilliant sense of humor and was unapologetically herself.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Hoffmann; her children, Candace Ramsey and Holly Delorme (husband Steven Delorme); her sister, Connie Kessler (husband Bruce Kessler); mother in law, Sam Hoffmann; her dogs, Lilly and Poppy; her grandchildren, Carson, Owen, Trey, and Rhilee; and her nephew, Caleb Kessler.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Jim and Joy Sherwood and her nephew, Josh Kessler.

A service to celebrate Jerry’s life will be Monday, June 3, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with interment following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
