Jean Lewis was born in Minco, OK on October 18 (19) 1930. She passed in Oklahoma City on June 9th 2022. She worked in the mortgage industry for 47 years, having risen to corporate secretary. She graduated Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City. She became a real estate broker, becoming the first woman to belong to the OKC Loan association management group. Jean was always kind and always active, participating in children’s ministries, plays, and other outreaches at Crossroads Church. She volunteered at the Hope pregnancy center and Integris Southwest for over 10 years, touching countless lives. She loved baking, sewing, gardening, quilting, and making personalized cards for friends and family. She will be greatly missed
She is preceded in death by parents, Carl and Lilly Harris. Brother and sister, Jessie Harris and Leola Brown. Husband GB Lewis.
She is survived by son, Michael Jean Lewis, daughter, Cynthia Ann Mathews and husband Ron; Grandchildren, Beth Lewis, Brian and Christy Lewis, Tera Holland, Robin Golden, Numan and Caitlin Golden, Jacob and Allison Mathews. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and a host friends and loved ones.
A memorial celebration service for Jean will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Crossroads Church, 8901 S Shields Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73149.
