Jarold Lynn Waddle

Jarold “Jerry” Lynn Waddle of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away on August 16, 2024. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on April 23, 1942, to parents Elbert Arnold Waddle (“Bert”) and Velma Lavelle Smith. Jerry attended Star Spencer High School and went on to marry his wife, Anita Gail Woolly in 1968 from that union his daughter was born. Later he met and married Jo Ellen Bryant in 1986.

Jerry served in the United States Army, where he spent time in a variety of places, such as Ft. Hood, Texas; Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri; and Germany.

He enjoyed his daily walks with the dogs, fishing, riding his motorcycle. He liked racing his 66 Chevrolet.

Jerry is someone who had a great sense of humor and taught others the importance of work ethics. Most would remember Jerry as someone who loved their family.

He is survived by his daughter Shary Ginn of Midwest City, Oklahoma; step-daughter Adrianne Ayers of Midwest City, Oklahoma; step-son Jerry Huey; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and 3 nieces.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Velma Waddle, and sister Lona Jayne Blair (Wayne).
