Jane Elizabeth Sloan

Jane Elizabeth (Beckett) Sloan, 87, of Oklahoma City went to heaven April 13, 2025. She was born on May 21, 1937, in Pittsburgh, PA to DH and Florence Beckett. Jane was happily married to Raymond Sloan for 51 wonderful years before his passing.

She attended the University of Pittsburgh. Jane was a lifelong homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a longtime member of The Village Christian Church in OKC. Jane will be remembered for being an incredible pianist, as well as an avid sports fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, OKC Thunder and OU Football. No one loved their family and friends more than her.

She is preceded in death by husband, Ray Sloan; late life partner, Ralph Lawson; granddaughter, Brittany Elizabeth Bell;daughter in law, Donna Sloan; and son in law, Thomas Bell Jr.

Jane is survived by her daughter Debi Rosecrans and husband Rick, grandson Drew and his wife Abbie, grandson Nathan and his wife Kyle and great grandsons Hunter and Jamie; son Bobby Sloan and wife Ann, granddaughter Sarah Havens and her husband Kyle, great grandson Beckett and great granddaughter Vada; son Brian Sloan, grandson Brian Jay Cox Jr. and wife Chelsey and great grandson Hudson Hill Cox; and daughter Christy Bell.

A service in Jane’s memory will be held Friday May 2,2025 at 2:30 pm at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel located at 7801 NW Expressway Oklahoma City.

Memorial donations may be made to Baptist Village of Oklahoma City who were her incredible caretakers for the last few years.
