Jane lived a beautiful life. A woman of strength and integrity. Her husband Ken adored her and together they taught all their children, integrity, loyalty, and compassion, imbuing them with the confidence necessary to pursue life of determination. Jane was a huge animal lover and a hero to her dogs whom she loved and adored.
Jane was born in Edmond, Oklahoma to her parents, Bennie and Genevieve Calhoun. She attended Memorial High School. Right out of high school, she became a wife and a mother, which was her passion in life.
She later went back to school and got her degree in cosmetology. Jane’s work ethic in life was unmatched by anyone. She had many jobs throughout her lifetime and sometimes worked 2 to make sure her family was always taken care of and had what they needed. Jane was even once featured in a newspaper as a female iron worker that could outwork any man on the job site. She finished up her life retiring with her husband. She was a fierce and amazing individual and there will never be another like her.
Jane loved the Lord, enjoyed good food, good coffee, and in the last few months of her life figured out Netflix and was a fan.
To her kids, she leaves her tremendous work ethic and strength and the ability to never back down. To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she leaves her love and promise to watch them grow up from heaven. To her husband, she leaves her undying love, unfathomable gratitude for loving her through the highs and lows of their 16 years.
Jane is now walking the streets of heaven with those that have gone before her, to include her first husband Rusty, and her parents. But will truly be missed by those she left behind which include Tara Levinson and her husband Peter, Tiffany Bondurant and her Husband Jacob, her son Ryan Trotter. Her stepchildren Drew Moseley and his wife Lisa, Dustin Moseley and Devin Willingham, and her husband Cody. She also leaves behind the legacy of 5 grandchildren.
