James Richard (J.R.) Redden, 82, of Midwest City, OK, passed away September 10, 2011. He was born in Long, Oklahoma on March 6, 1929, the son of Mose Oliver and Ethel (Howell) Redden. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1949-1953 and retired from Tinker Field Air Force Base as an Aircraft Mechanic in 1968 then working as an auto mechanic. Survivors include his wife Dora of the home, one son Jerry Redden and wife Dianne of OKC, one daughter Sherri Bailey and husband Mike of Choctaw, OK; one brother Gene Redden and wife Vera Jean of Donegal, PA.; three grandsons, three granddaughters; one great-grandson and three great-granddaughters ; several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Bill Eisenhour NE Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to your favorite charity.
