James L. McEntire

James L. McEntire born in Marion County, Arkansas on July 6, 1929 to Earnie and Mouzela T. Tyler McEntire passed away July 22, 2017 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He was predeceased by his parents and older brothers, Thomas and Bob and son-in laws Dennis Bunker and Eddie Kramer. Survived by wife, Eleanor June (Day) McEntire and 5 daughters, Linda Kromer; Brenda & Melvin Miller; Debra Ringwald; Paula Bunker; Gail & Clinton Ringwald; and 1 son, Earnie and his wife Shirley McEntire; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 1 sister, Pauline and Don Stephens; 1 brother, Clifford and Judy McEntire. He served in Korea in 1951 and 1952. In April 1962 James & June entrusted their lives to the Lord when they embraced the Gospel, “The Truth of God” that Jesus ordained and sent forth into all the world.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, OK 73141. Burial will follow Military Honors rendered by a U.S. Army Honors Detail at Jones I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Jones, Oklahoma.
