Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-grandfather. Born in Kinta, Oklahoma, but a lifelong resident of Oklahoma City. He attended N.E. Oklahoma State College and was on the varsity baseball and basketball teams. He was married in 1951, to Ruth McKee, his childhood sweetheart. They had three sons, Mike, Chuck, and Scott. They have been active in church at First Baptist of Oklahoma City since 1951. Jim’s passions have been antique car collecting, travelling, and square dancing. He was a Mason, and a Shriner. Jim is survived by his wife, Ruth McKee, and his son Scott, seven grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 26, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and family will be receiving guests from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Graveside service in honor of Jim will be on Monday December 27, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Oklahoma City.
