James Michael Dyer, 55, passed away May 3, 2012. He was born July 7, 1955 in Oklahoma City to Jimmy & Billie Joan (Ward) Dyer. Mike was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Lamar Dyer in 2009. Mike is survived by his mother, Billie Dyer; wife, Judy Dyer; daughters, Christy White & Melanie Buck; sister, Shirley Ann Potter; brother, Jerry Lamar Dyer; 3 grandchiildren, Madison & Gabriel Buck; and Bryson States; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mike was a truck driver by trade. He always drank hot chocolate instead of coffee and was NEVER on the road without his white cowboy hat! He had a strong faith. He always gave his brother, Jerry, a hard time about making better asphalt for smoother roads for him to drive his truck on since Jerry worked at the asphalt plant. Mike helped a lot of people; with money, advice or just being there for them when they needed him the most. His kindness and sense of humor touched all the lives of everyone around him. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Burial followed in Arlington Memory Gardens with services under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home.
