The beautiful son of Carter and Gio Green, Jack William Green, was called by our loving and mighty Heavenly Father on Friday, April 5th, while being held in his parents' loving arms at OU Children's Hospital. Jack was born exactly eighteen months prior on October 5, 2022, in Oklahoma City at Mercy Hospital. Jack's life is a beautiful gift, not only to his parents but to anyone who met him. Jack is the only child of Carter Edmond Green and Giovanna Nunez Green. He was and always will be the answer to their prayers, their pride and joy, and their greatest achievement. During his brief, yet wonderful time on Earth, Jack enjoyed being held closely by his parents and grandparents, playing with toys, traveling with his mom and dad, splashing in the water, and visiting the park with his beloved nanny, Emmie Platner. He was loved by all who met him and will be deeply, deeply missed.
A graveside service for Jack will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery located at 13400 N. Kelley Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73131, followed by a celebration of his life at the Green residence. The family has requested all black to be worn by attendees of the service.
Jack is survived by his paternal grandparents, Danny and Chris Green, his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Maria Nunez; his aunt and godmother, Jessica Nunez, uncles and aunts, Denver, Hunter, Krissi and Sheena Green, and Heather Chandler and Meghan Griggs; and his joyous cousins, Landon, Eli, Lyla, Anniston, Adeline and Elliana Green, Greyson and Brayden Chandler, Emma and Keatyn Griggs; and countless friends near and far. Jack is met in heaven by a few of his great-grandparents, additional family members, and several family friends.
In lieu of flowers, the Greens would be honored to have you support his legacy by donating to Little Light House OKC, a tuition-free, Christan private school, founded by Jack's mom and dad in his honor to serve extraordinary children in Oklahoma City with special needs from ages 0-6.
If you would like to send flowers for the service the family has requested blue and white arrangements in memory of Jack.
