"With a heavy heart" are words people use to announce a loved ones passing. Well, I didn't want to use those words, as my heart is not necessarily heavy. A part of my heart is very sad, of course, but most of my heart is filled with peace and joy because my mother is no longer suffering and doesn't have to live through the burdens of life on earth, as we must continue to endure while we await our final hour. But most importantly, the joy comes from knowing the relationship she had with Jesus, our ONE and ONLY SAVIOR! She was ready to be with HIM! She made the most of the time she had here on earth... but her eyes were always on JESUS! Not just because of the cancer, but because she really loved HIM! She loved to study the WORD of GOD and talk about HIS goodness and mercy! This is why I have such tremendous peace in letting you all know of my mother's passing. Even though I write this through streaming tears, my peace, through the LORD our GOD, surpasses my sadness, for which I'm very grateful!
