Helen Josephine Hand

Helen J. Hand was born February 4, 1921 to John and Augusta Jantz in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away August 10, 2011 in Oklahoma City. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Ken Dickerson of Piedmont, grandchildren John of Oklahoma City, and Dia Hendrix (Joel) of Yukon, and great-grandchildren Harlee Dickerson, Makenna Hendrix and Hayden Hendrix who will arrive in September, and sisters RosaMae Fitzgerald and Lillie Allen. She is preceded in death by her husband John, Daughter Sherri Lynne, great-grandson Aaron Hendrix, her parents, and three brothers, Carl, Marvin and Raymond Jantz, and one sister Opal Cope. We would like to thank Dr. Jerome Anderson and Dr. Glen Hyde and the staff at Heritage Assisted Living for their care over the years that allowed us to have her for as long as we did. Services are 10:00 AM Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel.
