Harold E. Richardson, 84 year-old resident of Choctaw, OK, passed away Dec. 21, 2011 in Midwest City, OK. Born Nov. 2, 1927 in McLean, TX, he was the son of Grady Thomas Richardson and Teresa Beardon Richardson. Harold was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and had retired as a Master Sgt. from the U.S. Air Force. He had also retired from the U. S. Post Office. Harold liked fishing and golfing. He was an avid gardener and loved to “Tinker” with cars. Anyone who visited his home had their oil and tires checked before they left. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Minnie Richardson; his son-in-law, Jay Anderson; 2 sisters, Doris and Joy; and 1 brother, Roy. Survivors include 1 son, Weldon Richardson and his wife Barbara of Amarillo, TX; 1 daughter, Martha Anderson of Choctaw, OK; 4 grandchildren, Shannon Hittson and her husband Barry; Lacy Isom and her husband Brad; Jason Richardson and his wife April; and Ira Anderson and his wife Jenifer; 7 great-grandchildren + one on the way; 2 brothers, James Richardson of Alabama; and Virgil Richardson of Ft. Worth, TX; and a number of nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a local CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) who helps abused and neglected children. Arrangements are under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
