Harold Dean Neal, 74 year-old resident of Choctaw, Oklahoma, passed away March 4, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born October 30, 1939 in McCurtain, Oklahoma, he was the son of B.C. and Mary Loeta Daniels Neal. Harold was an Oklahoma City Police Officer from 1966 until 1986. He also worked for 15 years in Internal Securities at the Oklahoma Tax Commission. He was an avid Hobby farmer. He loved to rebuild tractors, raise horses and cattle and could most often be found in his shop just “tinkering” with his current project. He was preceded in death by his parents, B.C. and Loeta Neal; and 1 brother, Jackie Don Neal. Survivors include his wife Norma L. Neal of the home; 3 sons, Ron Neal and his life partner, John Raymundo of the New York City Metro area; Shane and his wife Vi Ann Neal of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and Tra Neal of Choctaw and his fiance, Coty Reis; 3 grandchildren, Haley, Justin and Dylan Neal; 2 brothers, Joe Neal of Jones, Oklahoma; and Winston and his wife Nancy Neal of Seminole, Oklahoma; 3 sisters, Louise and her husband Foy Rhodes of Hugo, Oklahoma; June and her husband Jerry Pierce of Edmond, Oklahoma; and Pat Holbrook of Orlando, Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, OK 73141. Burial will follow Honors by the Oklahoma City Police Department Honors Detail in Jones I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Jones, Oklahoma.
