Hai Thi Ly Hoang

She was surrounded by the love of her five children and husband, whom she was married to for over 40 years. Hai was born in Quang Ninh, Vietnam on October 10th 1954. She married the love of her life in her mid-20’s. Together, they fled Vietnam as refugees during the Vietnam War and their adventure led them to Macau, China where they had their first daughter, Ava. From there, they immigrated to the United States and settled in Oklahoma City, OK where they planted roots and nurtured four more children: Rachel, Chi, Lily, and Kenny.

Hai loved spending time with her family & friends and you could normally find her frequenting the aisles of Costco, tending to her vegetable garden, or preparing home-cooked meals for her family.

She is survived by her husband, Cuong, her five children, and four grandchildren: Chloe, Olivia, Dayton, and Noah.

A visitation for Hai Thi will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 13313 North Kelley, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.

A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Park Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
