Grady Lee Underwood was born December 13, 1937 in Duncan, Oklahoma by R.C. and Dois Underwood and went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 17, 2011 after a long illness. He graduated from Bethany Nazarene College in 1968. Grady served his country in the Navy from 1955 through 1959. He was married to the love of his life, Linda Lee Epperly in 1971. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, but he is mostly survived by the countless people whose lives he touched and made a difference throughout his life. He is also survived by 2 sons, Scott and Steve Paxton, daughter, Bevra; sister, Dorothy Robnett, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Henderson Hills Baptist Church where he served as deacon and participated with great joy in the music and worship ministry. Grady became a friend of Bill W in 1981 and worked for Country Companies since 1988. Grady’s memorial service will be at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper at 6600 Broadway Extension, Oklahoma City at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 20, 2011. The family requests memorial donations be made to Celebrate Recovery at Henderson Hills Baptist Church.
