Gloria Jean Davis passed from Alzheimer’s disease on August 8, 2014 in Oklahoma City at the age of 86. She was born August 14, 1927 in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Putnam City Original High School in 1945. She was a long time employee of Sunshine Biscuit Company as a bookkeeper, retiring in 1973.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, John M. Davis; her daughter, Donna Monroe; grandson, Tate Monroe, nephew, Mark Wortman and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Wood, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.
The Family would like to thank the caregivers at The Lakes Care Center and Humanity Hospice for all of their loving care.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 8am-8pm at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper. Graveside Services will be 11:00AM, Friday, August 15, 2014 at Rose Hill Burial Park.
