Glenn Wilson Smoot

Glenn Wilson Smoot, 91, of Edmond, passed from life on October 1, 2011, joining his wife of 64 years, Pearla Mae, who died on July 23, 2011 and was likely calling for him to come play cards and join her in the glory of the Lord’s heaven. Glenn leaves behind a son, Russell Carter, and his wife, Sue, from Charleston, South Carolina; daughters, Glenda Oldham and Debbie Woska and her husband, Dan, all of Edmond. He also leaves many loving grandchildren, cousins and friends. Glenn had few equals. He was a constant, unwavering, hard working, model of consistency, responsibility, loyalty and love. Glenn lived life well. All those around him witnessed a great example of how to deal with life. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
