Glenda Parker

Glenda Mae Adkison Sellers Parker was born January 27th 1959 in Waynesville, Missouri to Ralph and Frances Adkison. Glenda was born and raised in Waynesville, Mo. Glenda married Billy Sellers and two beautiful daughters were born from that marriage; Christina (Chrissy) Wingert and Suzanne (Sue) Guthmiller. Glenda moved to Oklahoma and worked for the Yukon School district for 12 years. Glenda met and married Thurman Parker Jr. they were married on June 30th, 1989. Her Baby Boy Tim Parker was born from their marriage. Glenda loved to spend time with her family.

Glenda went home to heaven on July 26th,2013 at the age of 54. Glenda passed away peacefully at Baptist Hospital surrounded by her family and friends. Glenda is survived by her husband of 24 years Thurman Parker Jr. Her children, Christina Wingert, Suzanne Guthmiller, Tim Parker, son-in-laws Mark Wingert, Alan Guthmiller and 6 grandchildren; Arista Thompson, Christopher Thompson, Nathaniel Thompson, Carmen Wingert, Kimber Guthmiller, John Guthmiller and her siblings; Ralph (Butch) Adkison and Wanda Hambley. Lots of nieces and nephews. Glenda is preceded is death by her parents Ralph Adkison and Frances Enloe Adkison.

Graveside service will be Wednesday July 31st, 2013 at 2 pm at Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery 202 Historic 66 W, Waynesville , Mo 65583
