Billy was born on May 16th, 1955 in Oklahoma City, Ok. to G.W. "Bill" & Wanda Swisher where he was the oldest of seven siblings. He attended Oklahoma City public schools and Missouri Military Academy.
Billy married his best friend and love of his life, Lucinda Shelley Keys at a young age. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by Shelley and their four wonderful children Lori Swisher, Kathryn Swisher Kahn (Jason), Elizabeth Swisher and G.W. Swisher IV, and his precious granddaughter Madeline Kahn whom he always bragged that she was perfect, brilliant, and beautiful.
Early on Billy could always be found attending sporting events, school functions, plays, horse shows, and fairs. The Special Olympics held a place near and dear in his heart and always brought a lot of excitement to the Swisher household. He loved music and old western movies and had a keen interest in cars and trucks. He loved the Oklahoma Sooners and especially his beloved fur baby, “Big Boy Bentley.”
Billy had a great talent and vital interest in all mechanical devices, one that he shared with his father - especially road paving machines. At an early age, he went to work for CMI Corp, beginning his career in the shop and worked his way up to Vice President of Sales. He later started RPM LLC with several of his brothers. Billy was a master at selling road equipment and asphalt plants. There was hardly ever a deal he couldn’t close. He loved his work and made life long friends through out the world while selling equipment.
He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Wanda Swisher and brother Chris “Bebe” Swisher. Billy is survived by his wife, their 4 children, son-in-law and grandchild. Siblings Thane (Jill) Swisher, Kyle (Michele) Swisher, Ann Swisher, Kelly Swisher McLain and Scott (Jennifer) Swisher. His nieces & nephews whom he adored Natalie Swisher Bunds (Kyle), their children Carter and Ellie. Alex Swisher (Eliza), Megan Swisher Rayle (Albert) their daughter Harper. Hunter and Erin Swisher and Ryan Swisher Davis (Jeff). Jennifer McLain, William McLain, Mark McLain, and Taylor McLain.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 15th from 2:oo pm to 4:00 pm at 1500 Dorchester Drive, Nichols Hills, Oklahoma 73120.
