George Memphis Renfro

George Renfro passed away on Oct 18, 2020 in OKC at the age of 96. He was born on Sept 26, 1924 in Seminole County to James Edward and Georgia Almanza Renfro. George and his wife of 61 years, Helen O Renfro became faithful members of Country Estates Baptist Church after moving to Midwest City in 1965 until their passing. George was a veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a career banker in Konawa, south OKC and Midwest City. George enjoyed gardening, playing canasta, dominoes, Bingo, writing and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, his wife, and 1 grandson. He is survived by his sister, Ruby Pauline Walker; sons, Mike and wife Dianne, Doug and wife Debi; daughter, Marla Casteel; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be on Tues Oct 27th from 4-8 pm at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 am on Wed Oct 28th at Country Estates Baptist Church in Midwest City. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City. Services will be live-streamed on Facebook at “CEBC-MWC”, and “Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home”.
