Geneva Mae Waller was born on October 23, 1940 on a beautiful autumn day in Foss, Oklahoma to Leo Henry and Elizabeth Alice (Hoffman) Steffes. She passed from this life to enter Heaven on April 10, 2023 with her children and grandchildren by her side.
Geneva grew up near Canute, Oklahoma and lived on a farm with her 13 brothers and sisters where they picked cotton and cared for all the animals on the farm. She attended the Holy Family schools where she graduated from. She moved to Oklahoma City and met and married the love of her life, Ronald David. She owned and operated the fountain at Conrad-Marr Drug store part of her life, but she was mostly a homemaker. During the later part of her life, she was greatly involved with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, through babysitting and everyday school activities.
She was family oriented. She loved to bake and can things from her garden. She also greatly enjoyed camping and family gatherings. She loved to take vacations to Hawaii as well. Out of all of her pastimes, what she will be remembered the most for was her love for Elvis! Her daughters said that she had memorabilia all over her house of him.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ronald David, as well as seven siblings.
Those remaining to cherish her memory include her daughters, Dawn Michelle and husband Rocky Clark, and Veronica Zollo; sister, Cornelia and husband Raymond Gelnar; sister, Mary Ann Gunter; brother, Bobby Steffes; brother, Leon and wife Linda Steffes; brother, Gerald Steffes; brother, Bill Steffes; grandchildren, Christina, Holly, Jonathan, Rocky, and Lauren; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Joshua, Gauge, Nicholas, Rocky, Ryker, Lane, and Cooper, along with numerous other family and friends.
