Frieda Valeria Green

Frieda Valeria Green, 94 year-old resident of Spencer, OK, passed away on Jan. 26, 2011 in Del City, OK. Born October 4, 1916 in Stella, OK, she was the daughter of James Franklin and Sarah Oma Allsup Reeves. Frieda owned her own C.P.A. Firm in Lancaster, CA for many years. She was a member of Dickson Baptist Church in Midwest City, OK and the Moose Lodge; Emblem Club; Classic Chevy’s and VFW, all in Lancaster, CA. She moved to Oklahoma City from Phoenix, AZ about 4 ½ years ago following her husband’s death to live with her niece Connie Johnson. Frieda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Green; 4 sisters, Rella Hale; Ruby Deskin; Artie Hayes; and Winnie Edwards; 3 brothers, Wayland, Stanley, and Allen Reeves. Survivors include 3 step-children, John Green of Washington; Beth LeGrant of Springfield, IL; and Paul Green of Phoenix, AZ; several step-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, Oklahoma City, OK with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Norman, OK.
