Freda Janette Rivers

Freda Janette (Miller) Rivers of Midwest City, OK went to be with the Lord on March 23rd, 2025. She was born June 22nd, 1945 to Lonnie Lee and Mattie Belle (Childers) Miller. Freda had two brothers: Alfred and George, and two sisters: Glenda, and Patsy. Freda grew up in Vanoss, OK where she graduated from Vanoss High School in 1963. Freda married Larry Rivers on July 15th, 1964. She and Larry had two Daughters: Deanna, and Kimberly. They had 4 Grandchildren: Travis, Mattie, Kaylee, and Ashlee. They had 3 Great Grandchildren: Isabella, Isaiah, and Amelia. Freda also loved her Niece Michelle, Great Niece Brooks and Nephews: Ronnie, David, and Cody. She was also very close to her Sister in Law Karen and Brother in Laws: Ronald and Ron. Freda worked 39 years for the Department of Defense at Tinker Air Force Base as a Civilian Publications Specialist. Freda loved Country Music especially those who shared her Oklahoma roots: Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, and Toby Keith. Freda had a personality that would light up a room and loved hosting family and friends and always had fun games, good jokes, and enjoyed being silly. Freda loved her family and spending time with them, as well as painting, cross stitching, and traveling. Freda was preceded in death by her husband Larry; Mother and Father Lonnie and Mattie; Brothers George and Alfred; and Sister Patsy; Sister in Law Diane; Brother in Law Ronald; and Daughter Deanna. She is survived by her Daughter Kimberly and husband Joey; her Sister Glenda; Granddaughters: Mattie, Kaylee, and Ashlee; Grandson Travis; Great Grandchildren: Isabella, Isaiah, and Amelia; Brother in Law Ron; fur babies Abby and Muffin.

A visitation for Freda will be held Friday, March 28, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A burial will occur Friday, March 28, 2025 at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
