She was born in Muskogee Ok, to Virgil and Yonah Brannon. Frankie was the fourth of seven children. She married Fritz Olson on June 6th, 1957, in Muskogee Ok. Fritz and Frankie created a family with sons Gary and Stephen Olson. They were married until Fritz’s untimely battle with cancer ended in 1993.
She loved serving and volunteering at church and local hospitals. She found much joy investing her time with close friends and her beloved family. Spending time with her grandchildren made her heart sing. Shopping, traveling, and gospel music were also some of her hobbies.
It wasn’t until later in life Frankie married David Liles. They found a passion for attending and serving at Crossings Community Church. You could always find her bubbly smile and infectious laugh volunteering her time with WizKids, Celebrate Recovery, or at Crossings Clinic.
Above all, Frankie’s relationship with the Lord was her most prized possession. She embodied the fruit of the Spirit. Her quiet life impacted all of those who she encountered.
Frankie was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Archer, Marie Davenport, Louise Warren, and Pearl Brannon; Brother, Harold Brannon; Grandson, Jack Chambers; Husbands, Fritz Olson, and David Liles.
She is survived by her brother Jay Brannon; Her children, Gary Olson and wife Pam, Stephen Olson and wife Joani Chambers-Olson; Grandchildren, Jennifer Olson and boyfriend Ryan Lovelace, Michelle Moers and husband Zach, Erin Olson, Jillian Fields and husband Adam, Jack Chambers and wife Loni, Jared Chambers; As well as many great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Frankie will be held Friday, September 20, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Crossings Community Church, 14600 Portland Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73134 with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
