Frankie "Darlene" Crase passed away on Saturday June 8, 2024, just a month after celebrating her 75th birthday. Darlene, as she was known to her friends and family, was born on May 6, 1949 in Ada, Oklahoma to Felix Frankie Loman and Sylvia Marie Loman. After several moves, including to Arizona, she graduated as class valedictorian from Milburn High School and moved to Oklahoma City where she worked at the AT&T plant, eventually moving to the state Dept of Vital Statistics before starting her Civil Service career at Tinker AFB. While there she met and married the love of her life, Bradley Crase, getting married on Dec 22, 1981 as they celebrated 42 years together. She was a loving and deeply caring person, stubborn sometimes to a fault and a perfectionist in everything she did. This served her well as she finished her career in the command section of the Air Logistics Center at Tinker AFB. She always put others' needs before hers, especially her career as she followed her military husband to Germany, Tinker AFB, St Louis and finally back to Tinker before retiring in 2005. They had many adventures together enjoying auctions, books and travel. After she retired, she stayed very busy raising and adopting 2 of her grandkids, starting a whole new set of experiences with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Buzzy Baughman, sister LaJune Baughman and son Jared Jones. She is survived by her husband Bradley, children Jeff Jones (Mandy), Douglas Crase (Mandy), 8 grandkids, Dakota, Ashley, Kassandra, Britnee, Christopher, Taylor, Garrett, and Reese and 3 great-grandsons, Bentley, Leo and Christopher. Sisters Janice Anoatubby (Bill), Jo Pauline Childs (Wes), Carla Barton (Joe), brother Patrick Giles (Jennifer) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be on June 14th at 2:00 p.m. at Choctaw United Methodist Church.
