She attended A & M College (OSU) in Stillwater Oklahoma and graduated with a Teacher Degree in 1929.
Frances married Kenneth Dee Perkins on March 16, 1946. They had 2 children Dee Ann Perkins Alexander of Indiana and David Andrew Perkins.
They lived in Enid, Woodward, Duncan, Oklahoma City, and Houston Texas.
They came back to Oklahoma City and moved their church membership to Wesley United Methodist Church in 1972 where Frances was an active member. She was a member of the United Methodist Women’s group and served as President for many years. She was instrumental in beginning the church’s clothing store for the community. She volunteered with mobile meals, Skyline Ministries, visiting the sick and nursing homes, chaired the church’s many bazaars as well as many other volunteer opportunities within the church.
Frances was also a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and Siloam Chapter of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her daughter Dee Ann Perkins Alexander of Indiana and her son David Perkins, nephew Robert Manlove of Friendswood Texas, niece Linda Rains of Oklahoma City, 5 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, brother and sister-in-law (Richard and Dorothy Manlove).
