Etta Faye Buchanan

Etta “Faye” Buchanan, 91, of Choctaw, Oklahoma, went home to be with the Lord, May 20, 2013. She was born July 31, 1921 in Canton, Oklahoma, to Clinton & Julia “Pearl” Leighnor. Faye owned and operated Faye’s Laundry in Choctaw for over 22 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandson, 1 daughter-in-law, and 2 sisters. Survivors include1 son; George Crawford, 2 daughters, Julie Smith and her husband Randy; Leota Dunn and her husband Ben; 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren; also 1 brother, Dean Leighnor and his wife Audrey and numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 24th at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Church in Choctaw, Oklahoma with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Edmond, OK.
