Erma Lee (Worden) Cole, was born March 10, 1921 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Nick and Edith Worden, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 24, 2014. She was married to the love of her life John A. (Jack) Cole on Jan 22, 1942. They were married for 62 wonderful years at the time of his death in May 2004. To this union was born two dearly loved daughters Pamela Duncan and Jonetta Merchant. Also surviving are Randol Duncan , husband of Pamela and four much loved grandsons: Greg Duncan of Edmond, OK; Jeffrey Duncan and wife Kelley of Altus, OK; Brent Merchant and wife Noelle of Edmond, OK; Kevin Merchant and wife Renea of Yukon, OK; and four precious great grandsons, Gant, Jake, Nick and Todd Duncan of Altus, OK; two precious great granddaughters, Kelsey Merchant of Yukon, OK and Hannah Merchant of Edmond, OK; and niece Judy Gray of Aurora, CO. Erma Lee made her profession of faith at 11 years of age at First Baptist Church in Lindsay, OK and was very active in her church. She and John joined Portland Avenue Baptist Church in 1975 and were faithful members in Sunday school and Church. She was a loving mother whose family was very important to her. She chose to be a stay at home mom to be with her girls and make a home for her husband. She loved sewing and crafts and she made most of the girls clothes when they were growing up, as well as her own. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister (Genieve Peterman) and one brother (Dale Worden). She was ready to go be with the love of her life for eternity.
