Elsie Edna Ochs was born on March 14th, 1921, in Hoisington, Kansas, to Jacob and Lena Ochs. Her family emigrated from Germany to Russia in the 1770’s and then came to America in 1876.
Elsie moved to Oklahoma City after World War II where she met and married Johnny Moore. After the death of Johnny, another good man became a part of her life. She was happily married to Harvey Williams until his death.
Elsie was a fun loving and lively person with a great smile and a quick wit. Her laugh was contagious and her smile was genuine. In fact, everything about her was genuine. She loved animals, knitting, sewing, and had a great passion for dancing. Elsie attended dances several times a week until the age of 87.
Elsie leaves behind many family members, friends, and her beloved cat Charlie, who was her saving grace as she was to him.
