Ellen Foster

Ellen Foster, 98 year-old resident of Spencer, OK, passed away August 18, 2014 in Oklahoma City, OK. Born June 16, 1916 in Idabel, OK, she was the daughter of Monroe Harvey and Molly (Tucker) Harvey. Ellen loved fishing, traveling, and had a restless streak which meant she moved often, never staying in one place for very long. She was a member of and very active in the 10th St. Seventh Day Adventist Church in Oklahoma City, OK. Preceded her in death were her husband, Edmond O. Foster in 1990; 1 daughter, Eddie Mae Foster; and 2 sisters, Elizabeth and Viola. Survivors include 2 sons, Edmond and his wife Irean Foster of Spencer, OK; Ronald and his wife Lindal Foster of New Jersey; 5 daughters, Oleta Hamilton of Sebaspapol, CA; Juanita and her husband Maurice Prince of Spokane, WA; Erma Jean Smith of Oklahoma City, OK; Francis and her husband Martell Swain of Oswego, NY; and Shirley and her husband Mike Levesque of Evans Mills, NY; 22 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2014 at the 10th St. Seventh Day Adventist Church, Oklahoma City, OK with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Spencer, OK.
