Elizabeth Jean Farrah

Elizabeth (Libby) Jean Farrah was born November 15, 1954 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Barron “Dwain” and Billye Jean (Large) Sturgess. She met the Lord and Savior on March 24, 2020 in Oklahoma City at the age of 65 years. Libby graduated from Northwest Classen High School in 1974. She enlisted in the Oklahoma National Guard in 1975 with her longtime friend, Rosanna Andrews. She was a member of Victory Baptist Temple and enjoyed flower gardening, reading the Bible and spending time talking to friends and family. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Farrah; her parents Dwain and Billye Sturgess; a sister, Katherine Sturgess; stepdaughter Barbara Reeves; and fur babies Callie and Midnight. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Whisenhunt; Stepchildren; Ernest Farrah, Jr, Gary Farrah, and Jonnie Farrah. Her beloved granddaughter, Breanna Whisenhunt; a host of step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she dearly loved; and her beloved fur baby Solomon. Many thanks and blessings to her friends who have been with her the last few years of her life. A special thank you to Ronnie Osborne, Libby’s close friend who was by her side and kept her going. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
