Edna Charlotte Palmer

.Edna Charlotte Palmer passed away December 13th, 2010. Edna was born to Alfred and Maggie Hammond on a farm in Moore, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers; Roy Hammond, Ray Hammond, Claude Hammond, Ben Hammond, Jack Hammond, and one sister, Myrtle Barney.

Edna was married to Floyd Palmer who preceded her in death in 1994 after forty-eight years of marriage. She retired from Bendix Air Brake Company after twenty-five years of service. She was a member of Ridgecrest United Methodist Church.

Edna is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Susan Palmer, her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Steve Von Tungeln, six grandchildren, Tom Palmer, Steffani Mesplay, Tiffani Krucke; all of Portland, Oregon, Chad Von Tungeln of Bethany, Cory Von Tungeln; Naperville, IL; Megan Von Tungeln of Oklahoma City and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 15th at 2:00 PM in the Guardian Funeral Homes West Chapel with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
