Doug spent most of his life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He earned a Bachelor's degree in network management from Southern Nazarene University. He worked for several companies including Cox Communications, and later became a stock investor. Doug became a Christian around age 14 and attended Life Church in North OKC.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan Smith and Jacklyn Jordan.
He is survived by his brothers; Lonnie and wife Kim, Mike, Steve and wife Mitzi, Wes and wife Lesa, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation for Douglas will be held Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 13313 North Kelley, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.
A graveside service will occur Monday, December 16, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13400 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.
