Dorthy Dean Bull, 89 year old resident of Harrah, Oklahoma, passed away February 13, 2019 in Jones, Oklahoma. Born November 5, 1929 in Coalgate, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Charlie Fletcher Howerton and Bertha (Wood) Howerton. Dorthy was a former owner-operator of a semi-truck working with her husband on long haul freight runs. She loved gardening both flowers and vegetables; fishing, swimming, playing Dominoes, and going to the Casino. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Jack Bull, two siblings, L.E. Howerton and Maryalee Drake. Survivors include three sons, Roy and his wife Sarah Taylor of Morton, Mississippi; Robert and his wife Aleta Taylor of Harrah, Oklahoma; and Ricky and his wife Davida Taylor of Edmond, Oklahoma; 1 daughter, Rebecca King of Jones, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Barbara Kelley of Lexington, Oklahoma; and LoEva Dew of California; and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2019 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73141 with burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
