Donna was born on July 21, 1932 in Oklahoma City, OK to William McClure and Gladys (Penner) McClure. She attended Capitol Hill High School. Donna worked many years as a cashier at Homeland, where she made many friends who would seek her out to wait on them.
As a longtime member of Southern Hills Baptist Church, Donna sang in the choir and was active in Sunday school and many Bible studies. She loved singing, reading, and attending her grandchildren’s sports activities.
Donna is survived by her husband Donald, four children; Marsha Rogers and husband Robert, Melinda Murillo and husband Phil, Jennifer Steffens and husband Aaron, Donnie Stokes and wife Tracy, six grandchildren; Tami Judkins and husband Joel, Jon Rogers and wife Alesha, Darcy Steffens, Ethan Steffens, Avery Stokes, and Taber Stokes, four great grandchildren; Dalton Judkins and wife Carmen, Jaxon Judkins, and Alivia Rogers, and one great-great granddaughter – Millie.
Donna is preceded in death by her mom and dad, one sister, two brothers, and son Robert Michael Sims.
Visitation for Donna will be held Tuesday, October 24th, from 5pm to 7pm at Advantage Funeral located at 7720 S. Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. And a Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, October 25th, at 11:00 am at Southern Hills Baptist Church, 8601 S. Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159, with internment at Resthaven Cemetery.
