Donald Dean Titus, 80 year-old resident of Spencer, Oklahoma, passed away April 20, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born August 19, 1930 in Stroud, Oklahoma he was the son of Pike Titus and Ella Reid Titus.
Donald was a longtime truck driver. He never met a stranger in his life and always had a smile for everyone. He loved stock car racing, raising cattle, and most importantly just being with family and friends. He was very active in the Spencer Kiwanis Club and was a former President.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 grandson; and 1 sister, Betty. Survivors include two sons, Darrell Titus of Spencer, OK; Dwight Dean Titus of Spencer, OK; two daughters, Deborah Titus Massey of Luther, OK; Denise Titus Whitt of Shawnee, OK; 1 brother, J.P. Titus of Ft. Worth, TX; 1 sister, Faye Kimball of Moore, OK; 8 grandchildren: Jack Vail, Jacqueline Willits, Zack Titus, Jeramiah Whitt, Jessica Whitt Cranmore, Derek Titus, Korey Whitt, and Joey Titus; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Spencer Road Free Will Baptist Church, 8515 NE 25th St., Spencer, OK, with Pastor Brian Maynor officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK, with services under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home.
