Donald E. Mize, 57 year-old resident of Harrah, Oklahoma, passed away May 15, 2014 in Midwest City, OK. Born November 8, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of Leo Edward Mize, Sr. and Julia Mary Schrobough Mize. Donald was a longtime cabinet maker. He loved Hunting and Fishing; riding 4 wheelers; John Wayne Movies; collecting guns; and most of all his wife, kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his father; step-father; 1 niece; and his best friend of over 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Rose Mize of the home; his mother, Julia Guthrie of Harrah, OK; 2 sons, James and his wife Amanda Key of Indianapolis, Indiana; Nicholas and his wife Destiny Bond of Oklahoma City, OK; 2 daughters, Tonya and her husband Phillip Crow of Harrah, Oklahoma; and Regina and her husband Jacob Brown of Luther, Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Jackie and his wife Bonnie Mize of Harrah, Oklahoma; 3 sisters, Carol and her husband David Williams of Jones, Oklahoma; Jeanetta and her husband Jimmy Zollner of Indianapolis, Indiana; and Robin Peregrine of Harrah, Oklahoma; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, OK 73141 with burial following in Jones I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Jones, Oklahoma.
