Diane Marie Ellsworth, age 66 of Midwest City, passed from this life on January 16, 2021 in Oklahoma City. She was born on November 22, 1954 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Clyde and Goldie (Rosterman) Fleury. She went to high school in Lake Charles then attended Rose State College in Midwest City. She worked for Southern Bell, Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, and then served in ministry as the Assistant to the Diocese until her passing.
Diane was a fan of the Oklahoma City Thunder and the New Orleans Saints. She enjoyed growing beautiful flowers, traveling across Europe, and taking care of her animals, but above all else she loved her family and spending time with them.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents: Clyde and Goldie Fleury; and her husband, Galen Ellsworth; brothers, Jerry McCoy and John Fleury.
She is survived by her sisters: Helen Fleury of Oklahoma City, and Janice Wagster of Lake Charles, Louisiana; niece and nephew, Michael and Molly; special cousin, Keith Schoeman of Atlanta, Georgia; as well as numerous other great nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family member and friends.
A memorial service honoring Diane’s life will be held at 2pm on Friday, January 29th, 2021 at St. Paul’s Cathedral located at 127 NW 7th St. in Oklahoma City.
