Debra Lynn Shatswell

Debra Lynn “Debbie” Shatswell, 60 year-old resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away December 20, 2016 at her home in Oklahoma City. Born October 31, 1956 in Midwest City, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Gerald Joseph and Betty Lou (Anderson) McClure, Sr.

Debbie was a positive woman who could fix anything, make something out of nothing, kept her family together, and absolutely make people smile and laugh no matter the problems faced. She was also a great baker and a self-employed event planner. Survivors include her mother, Betty Lou McClure; 5 sons, Christopher and his wife Brandy Shatswell; Sean and his wife Jessica Shatswell of Del City, OK; Adam and his wife Jamie Shatswell of Midwest City, OK; Matthew and his wife Brittany Shatswell of Del City, OK; and Gerald Shatswell and his girlfriend Rachel of Midwest City, OK; 3 grandchildren, Aiden; Damien; and Marcus Cain; 3 brothers, Gerald Joseph McClure, II of Midwest City, OK; David McClure of Dallas, TX; Daniel McClure of Harrah, OK; 2 sisters, Sharon Walker of Midwest City, OK; and Pamela Sue Whitehead of Moore, OK; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
