Debra Lou Scroggins

Debra Lou Scroggins, 55 year-old resident of Checotah, Oklahoma, passed away July 9, 2015 in Checotah, Oklahoma. She was a former resident of Oklahoma City for many years. Born July 27, 1959 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Archie Lloyd McClevinus and Iona Lee (Dees) McClevinus. Debra was an administrative secretary for many years. She was a huge OU football fan; loved fishing, NASCAR racing; morning walking; and being around the water for Sunbathing. Debra was preceded in death by her parents Archie and Iona McClevinus and 1 son, Calvin Kirk. Survivors include 1 son, Michael Kirk of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 3 daughters, Barbara Kirk of Eufaula, Oklahoma; Mary Ann Scroggins of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and Summer (Jason) Boone of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren; 4 sisters, Ann Franklin of Checotah, Oklahoma; Barbara Kirk of Yukon, Oklahoma; Darlene Patterson of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and Nelda Gay of Norman, Oklahoma; and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, OK from 5 – 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2015. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2015 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with Reverend Bob Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Jones I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Jones, Oklahoma.
