Darrel Wayne Weimer

Darrel Wayne Weimer, 74 year-old resident of Shawnee, OK, passed away November 19, 2010 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born September 7, 1936 in Atlanto, California, he was the son of Allen Wayne Weimer and Jean Klein Weimer. Darrel could fix or make almost anything he wanted to fix or make. He exceled at both woodworking and welding. Darrel had remodeled all of his homes and had made everyone in the family a minature oil derrick. He also loved fixing cars. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Wayne Weimer and 1 brother, Bill Weimer. Survivors include his wife, Ann Abraham Weimer of the home; his mother, Jean Weimer of Ridgecrest, CA; 1 son, Joe Weimer of Locust Grove, OK; 2 daughters, Lisa Jones and her husband Roy of Locust Grove, OK; Diana Merritt and her husband John of Taft, CA; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Carolyn Thoms of Ridgecrest, CA; Barbara Ann Carlson and her husband, Verne of Cavern City, OR; and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the Shawnee Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Clay Talton officiating.
