Dale Eugene Terrell

Dale Eugene Terrell passed away Monday, May 13, 2019. Dale was born April 27, 1930 in Oklahoma City, OK, to Eugene Homer and Ina Lefern Terrell. Dale attended Central High School and graduated from OU in 1957 with a bachelor degree in Business Administration. Dale started in homebuilding in 1957 and was president of the COHBA in 1978 and Builder of the Year in 1974. He enjoyed many fun times house boating on Lake Eufaula and eventually built a family lake house at Porum Landing. Dale was an avid OU Sooner fan and traveled to many games in his motorhome. Dale is survived by his wife, Pebble (Rocky) Terrell, son, Don Terrell and wife, Carla, daughter Joani Smith and husband, Jim, grandchildren, Kari Waltrip (Ryan), Kevin Terrell (Danielle), Kim Gill (Nick), Jesse Smith, 4 great grandchildren, his sister, Geraldine McDaniel and her husband, Kenneth, and a host of nephews and nieces. Visitation is Thursday, May 16th, 8am-8pm, the family will be available 6pm-8pm. Services will be Friday, May 17, 2019, at 10:00 am at Church of the Servant, Interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to OMRF.
