Cynthia "Cindy" Ann (Barefoot) Larson

Cynthia Larson, 69 passed away on November 2nd, 2021. She was the wife of Bill Larson. They shared 15 wonderful years together. Cindy was born August 10th 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was the Daughter of Boyd and Barbara Barefoot. Cindy began her career in 1974 as a dispatcher for the Oklahoma City Police Department. She later became the first female to be a Captain and Major at the Oklahoma City Fire Department. She retired from the Fire Marshals office in 1993. Cindy was a member of The Cowboy Church in Newcastle, Ok. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, making quilts for friends and family, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and spoiling her grandchildren. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents Boyd and Barbara Barefoot and her brother Clark Barefoot. Cindy is survived by her husband Bill Larson, her sister Barbara “Bobbie” Walling; her brother Clint Barefoot and wife Kathy; her son Chris Manning; daughter Barbara Quisenberry; grandson Easton Manning; granddaughters Mikayla and Makoy Manning. Also, her blended family Chris and LeAnna Larson, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A celebration of life for Cindy will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Tri City Cowboy Country Church, 3246 NW 32nd St, Newcastle, OK 73065
