Curtis Leon Scarberry was born May 13, 1942, in Hobart, Oklahoma to Fred Sylvanus Scarberry and Leila Edna Scarberry (Holman) and passed away on December 2, 2024. He married the love of his life, Deborah Scarberry (Shrader) and were shy 20 days of being together for 31 years.
He attended Hobart High and spent some time living in Texas until moving back to Oklahoma in 1966. Curtis enjoyed listening to country and gospel music.
A perfect day for Curtis would be spent on the lake or time with his family. As everyone knows how important family was to him.
Curtis worked for Petroleum Marketers Equipment for 32 years.
He is survived by his wife Deborah Scarberry, children Kirk Scarberry (Tamatha) of Yukon, Oklahoma; Denita Harrison of Bethany, Oklahoma; stepson Troy Shrader of Newcastle, Oklahoma; sibling Roy Scarberry of Carnegie, Oklahoma; Janet Emert (Floyd) of Sulphur, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Curtis is preceded in death by his wife Sandy Scarberry; parents Fred Sylvanus Scarberry and Leila Edna Scarberry (Holman); siblings Tim Scarberry of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; Calvin Scarberry of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; Marion Scarberry of Mountain View, Oklahoma; Tommy Scarberry of Cordel, Oklahoma; Barbara Ralls of Hobart, Oklahoma and Maudie Barnes of Hobart, Oklahoma.

A visitation for Curtis will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 6, 2024 at 10:00 at 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A burial will occur Friday, December 6, 2024 at Elmwood Cemetery, 1800 N Choctaw Rd, Choctaw, OK 73020.
