Clifton was the best friend of our friends,
Lee and Nicole Miller, and although my husband and I only shared a few, brief encounters with Clifton, he made quite an impact on us.  Through his quiet, gentle, tender hearted personality, it was evident that Jesus lives in him.  Even when he didn’t use words, he reflected the love of Jesus.  

My husband and I are keeping all the Jones family and all of Clifton’s friends in our prayers.  God bless and keep you all.

Scrolling through your Facebook page I was taken back to memory after memory with our family. Clifton you were our adopted son and you made our life so much brighter. Now you are making heaven shine brighter too. 

We often talked about your love life and had you found a wife. Now reading all the kind words people are posting about you and all the friends and extended family you had we know your life was so full I now think there probably wasn't room for anyone else. :) our love and prayers go out to all who loved you! Until we see you in Heaven again..... 

We spent many meals around the table. Every holiday you couldn't be with your birth family you were with us.  Sometimes you got to do both. You've been to birthdays and mother's day. Our home will be a little quieter and one less person around the table. 

We just want to thank all of those who cared for Clifton in his last days. We would of done anything to help but you all loved him so well. While he was in Tulsa we did what we could delivering groceries and checking in on him at the hospital most of our contact was through Lee as to not over whelm you all with one more person to give an update to.  Our love and prayers are with you! 

Clifton met our son Lee at ORU and that was it! He was family! Some of my first memories of him was when he moved in with Lee in an apartment and we came down and took the boys yard selling to furnish the apartment. He helped hold the mattress on top of the car like the rest of us did with windows rolled down and hands out the window holding it on we laughed so hard!+ as we we road down the street. 

Little did we know this would be our last Christmas with you. But every moment we had with you was so special. We love you man you will always be my son from another mother!

Cliff was a true friend of Neives’ in Tulsa!!! We loved seeing him on Friday nights for a Chicken Fajita, and a margarita!!!  He knew us well, and even offered to help clear tables once or twice when we were running crazy, and he was waiting on his food!!! One of my favorite memories was when he closed on his house.  He was so excited!!! Our staff, and some of our Friday regulars got to celebrate, and share a toast with him!!!  We are so very thankful to have known him!  I have a pic, but it doesn’t show off his incredible smile!!!  We will always have his signature marg on our menu, The Cliff Hanger. I think of Cliff and tell people about him every time I make one. Rest in Peace my Friend! ❤️ 


Clifton was the sweetest guy. Always smiling, always friendly. Never too busy to make a genuine connection. He will be greatly missed by all  who had the pleasure of being in his presence. 

So sorry for your loss.Sorry I didn't get to know him better.I am a neighbor on the next block.I didn't see him often.Therefore didn't get to know him very well.my misfortune.

You will never find a more Loving Kind Sincere Friend more than Clifton.  There has never been a time that He wasn’t there for his love ones and friends.  He had the most amazing personality and infectious laugh so positive and always upbeat.  Clifton was like a brother to me He never forgot a birthday and was there at my wedding .  I remember when I couldn’t hook up my firestick, messed up my  computer He was right there willing to fix what I messed up.  I remember the times he’d help me with recipes and my cooking. I remember growing up at our church when we would have the Christmas plays and our church choir.  I have so many fond memories of him.  He was so kind he never had anything bad to say to say about anyone He was the most inspiring caring and loving friend.  When u were around him He saw the best in everyone, he saw the potential in you.  He saw in me sometimes what I didnt see Rest in Heaven my friend my little brother you will be greatly missed .  Until we see each other again love you always.  

Cliff will forever be missed until I see him again in glory !  He had such a huge impact on me and I never did not have a smile or my sides hurting from laughing so hard when we hung out.    He was my brother from another mother and I was his sister from another Mista is what we always said ! He was the best ! The world Lost a beautiful person  heaven is gettin sweeter everyday.  Praying for the family I. Know what I am feeling is nothing compared to what you all are !   

Clifton was always a kind person. He had a great laugh and was so funny. We rode the bus together growing up and he always saved me a seat. Save me one in heaven, Clifton! Thanks for being a great friend.

I am so very sorry. Clifton was such a wonderful person. I met him when we were training at Dish. Of course he stayed but I didn't. We went to movies and had dinners for a while. I always wished him a Happy birthday every year. He was very special! May his memory be eternal🙏🙏

My name is Anika "Ace" Calvert and I was Cliff's barber for quite awhile. My condolences to the family. Cliff was such a kind friend!! He will be missed dearly. Rest well my friend.

Such a sweet kind soul the world was for sure better with you here it's a little darker now that we have lost you I didn't see you often yet anytime I did I was welcomed with that bright smile and positive attitude I don't know that you ever had a bad day or even got mad at anyone you were so special and such a kind hearted man you weren't here long yet the mark you made on so many is without a doubt sent from Heaven above I will always remember the times I jokingly was your wife always have a big smile Rest Sweetly 

I was a preacher at Woodland Terrace retirement center where on weekends he would work the graveyard shift. Each Sunday morning I would enter and see Clifton and his engaging spirit!  He loved and cared for people at Woodland Terrace for a long time!

Miss you my brother!l, but I know without a doubt you are in the Presence of God!
