Cliff married Lucile Ann Tewalt on March 5, 1953. The couple shared 70 wonderful years together, raising their four children: Janet, Patricia, Nancy, and Steven.
A hardworking man who never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand, Cliff was the sort of man you could rely on. He spent most of his life working in construction, but always had time for his family. He was a bit of a practical jokester, especially with Lucy – trying to jump scare her when she least expected it. Though, at the end of the day he enjoyed relaxing in front of the TV with his favorite Western shows and a handful of Chocolate Turtles, or doing one of his puzzle books.
Cliff was an active member of Britton Christian Church and also volunteered at the Britton Food Pantry.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Elvira McKinney, daughter, Janet Barham, son-in-law, Jim Barham; brothers, Roy McKinney, Ray McKinney, Lewis McKinney, John W. McKinney, and Henry McKinney, and brother-in-law Freelon Crick.
Cliff is survived by his wife, Lucile Ann McKinney; daughters, Patricia Chism, husband, Sam Harper of Edmond, Oklahoma, Nancy Brenneis, husband, Charley of Cookson, Oklahoma; son, Steven McKinney, wife, Marian McKinney of Bethany, Oklahoma; sister, Pearl Crick of Guthrie, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held for Cliff on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 8701 N.W. Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73162.
